Early family experiences can leave you carrying roles, expectations, or patterns that no longer fit who you are.

Online therapy for adults navigating difficult family dynamics, throughout Delaware and Pennsylvania.

You might recognize this

Maybe you've always been the responsible one. Or the peacekeeper. Or the one who learned early on that your needs were better kept quiet. You may have grown up in a home where love felt conditional, where emotional support was unpredictable, or where the adults around you needed more than they gave. And even now, far from that household, you might notice those dynamics showing up. In how hard it is to ask for things. In how quickly you take responsibility for other people's feelings. In the gap between who you are and who you were shaped to be.

What the work can look like

Together, we can explore what it looks like to step more fully into yourself. That might mean taking a closer look at the roles and rules you grew up with, understanding where they came from, and gently examining which ones still serve you and which ones you might be ready to set down. This can mean clarifying your needs, developing boundaries, and making space for your own voice. It can also mean grieving what you didn't get, which is real work too.

Who I work with

I work with adults throughout Delaware and Pennsylvania, including people navigating anxiety, trauma, and the lasting effects of difficult family dynamics. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself, and we can explore options together.

A note on telehealth

Many people find that the comfort of a familiar space makes it a little easier to open up. All sessions are via secure video, from wherever you have privacy and a connection.
